Account authority
The person creating or administering a company workspace confirms that they are authorised to act for that organisation. Customers are responsible for user invitations, permissions, account accuracy and activity performed through their authorised accounts.
Permitted use
PeopleVanta may be used for lawful business administration and the features included in the applicable plan. Users must follow the Acceptable Use Policy and may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorised access or process information without an appropriate purpose and authority.
Customer data and statutory work
Customers retain responsibility for the data they enter and instruct PeopleVanta to process. Payroll calculations, compliance records and Smart Invoice workflows are operational tools, not legal or tax advice. The customer must review outputs and confirm submissions, payments and acknowledgements with the relevant authority.
Service, changes and availability
We work to provide a reliable service, but maintenance, internet dependencies, third-party providers, emergencies and security work can affect availability. Features may evolve. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable channels when practicable.
Fees, suspension and termination
Paid plans are governed by the selected billing terms. Access may be limited for non-payment, security risk, unlawful use or material breach. On termination, export and deletion are subject to the plan, contractual commitments, backup cycles and legal retention requirements.
Responsibility and governing law
To the extent permitted by law, each party is responsible for losses caused by its own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct. PeopleVanta is provided without a guarantee that every output will be error-free or sufficient for a customer’s legal obligations. These terms are governed by the laws of Zambia, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
